What is an escape room?
An escape room is a physical and mental adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles and riddles using clues, hints, and strategies to master a specified mission. Escape rooms are excellent venues for problem solving and team building as groups work together to “unlock” the tasks at hand. Working together is paramount to being successful. How long does it last?
The actual “escape” time is 60 minutes. Players are asked to arrive no more than 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled time. There is a quick briefing of the room, and then players are given 60 minutes to accomplish the ultimate task. After the task is completed or the time in the room has run out, there will be time for a few photo ops if desired.
Do you really lock us in a room?
Under North Carolina law it is illegal to actually lock people in a room, so no need to panic if anyone has any concerns.
How old do you need to be to play? Is there an age limit?
Groups with players under 14 are asked to have at least one adult (21 years of age or older) participating in the room with them.
Will we be paired up with random players?
There is the possibility of being placed with other players. If you would like to book the entire room, please book all 6 available slots or choose to privately book the room.
We have more than six people in our group, can we add more?
No worries, our room holds up to eight people. Please select to book the entire room and we will happily accommodate your larger group. If your group is larger than 8, please book multiple time slots or contact us so we can work to provide the best experience for your group.
